Received my DX a few month ago and have barely put it down. At first I thought it was a little on the heavy side, then I picked up one of the books that I am replacing with the mobi version and the Kindle is lighter. I also use it for PDFs and so far it has worked flawlessly. In the first 36 hours I read 200 pages of a 400 page technical book. It is very easy on the eyes and I am no where near as tired as when I used my laptop to try to read this same document. Only drawback is that for almost 500 bucks it should include some sort of case because it scratches very easily. A metal clip-on night light left several faint scratches.
